Did you create a survey and then change your mind about what to call it? No problem, you can rename your survey! To do so, click the survey title in the top header. This will put the survey title in edit mode so you can make whatever changes you wish to make to your survey's title. Click elsewhere on the page when you are finished!
Create a Two-Line Survey Title
You can add a little HTML for a line break to your survey title to achieve this. To do so go to Tools > Survey Settings and enter your survey title placing the following HTML where you wish to have a line break: <br>
.
Don't Forget to Change Your Default Link
Once you create a survey, a default share link using the title you gave the survey is generated. Changing your survey title at a later point will not automatically update your default share link.
If you change the survey title, you'll probably want to edit the existing link (prior to distribution) or create a new link. If your survey is already in the field and responses are being collected via a specific share link, you should not edit this link.
Using an Internal Title
Often SurveyGizmo users need to make some internal or administrative distinction in the survey title that they do not necessarily want to display to the respondent. This might be the year or quarter of the survey or some other kind of unique identifier. Using the Internal Title field, you can add this info to the survey title for yourself and other SurveyGizmo users to reference. This will not be visible to a respondent.
The Internal Title will use the title specified in the Survey Title field unless otherwise specified. To change the Internal Title go to Tools > Survey Settings, specify your Internal Title and click Save Settings.

Hello!
Thank you for letting us know! I’ve gone ahead and made sure that the link is now forwarding to the correct article.
You should be able to change the name of your link by clicking the Customize button under the Primary Link in the Share tab.
See here for more info:

I hope this helps!

Hi
thanks for these tips, but the link to the "edit the existing link" does not direct me to the right article, but rather a page of other options. I still cannot easily change the name of my link despite changing the name of the survey.

@Onderzoekers: I'm sorry for the confusion caused by my below comment. The navigation for the Style tab has changed since then. If you wish to hide your survey title this option is available under Text > Text Options on the Style tab. As far as the trouble you are seeing where the correct survey title does not display, I tried to replicate this but couldn't seem to do so. If you continue to run into this trouble please reach out to our support team to see if they can sort out why this is happening!

Hello all, I copied my survey to use for another group. I changed the title in the general setting. When in style mode i get the right title, but in test mode (and live mode) the old title is still shown. The first suggestion of Bri doesn't seem to be there anymore (can't find "Style > Customize Theme > Options"). Any help please?

The note to make sure we change our default url once we change our title caused some confusion for me. I changed the title of my survey prior to distribution ( mostly to make the URL shorter, but also to define the survey differently ) and went to change the default link as I was reminded too. I noticed that the link was still my orignal title and the only edits options I could see were regeneration or a shortened URL option ( that is still not short enough for us). The confusion lies in that I was under the impression that the URL would automatically change with the new title and I simply had to check it and make any of the above edits options as needed. I was then worried that my survey link was broken or something , and I struggled to find out the issue. I would suggest putting something in the help section letting people know that the default link won't change and that you have to manipulate it further to make a change and that there could be the issue of a broken link etc.... this would have saved me a lot of time. Thanks!

Hi there! Under Style > Customize Theme > Options there is a Survey Title checkbox that, when unchecked, will hide the survey title from displaying. Based on your question though, it sounds like you are looking to hide the title on only certain pages. While we don't have a built-in way to achieve this I have a couple of workarounds that might work for you.
1) You can place the following code in a Text/Instruction element on each page where you wish to hide the survey title:
.sg-title{display:none;}
Before saving the text/instruction element, go to the Layout tab and uncheck the option to Automatically verify and fix this question's HTML.
2) You can turn off survey title as described above for the entire survey and then make use of the page title as a survey title as this field is permitted to be blank. Below is a tutorial on page titles:

I hope this helps!

I would like to know how to avoid showing the survey title on every page
